MSi testing has two mirrored Dell Servers. Both our servers have overnight offsite storage of removable hard drives. This helps us provide consistent protection for our client’s information and test results.
Our laboratory engineers have developed the software, which is used in our laboratory, in-house. Along with the assistance of our consulting software architect, we have come up with data storage, quoting module, bar code scanning, and critical ratio algorithms, which help us, run our laboratory smoothly. Developing the software in-house has helped us to meet the ever-changing needs of our metallurgical test lab clients.
MSi now offers clients even more convenience with our new website! Clients can now see the testing that we discuss with them over the phone. We are currently developing the website in conjunction with our search engine optimization consultation. This has made the MSi failure analysis lab the largest and most used lab on the web, and we continually update our website to make it a current useful resource for our clients.
The MSi laboratory also has internal scheduling software. Our very own engineers and software architect have developed this software. It helps each department to keep track of what testing is due on a daily basis. All the information is presented on “airport display” type monitors, in each department. This helps us make sure that we meet all the turn-around commitments of our clients daily.
In addition, bar code scanning in every department helps keep record of where a particle sample is within the laboratory. This is extremely helpful during the scheduling of large projects with multiple tests. We understand that customers are anxious to know about the status of their testing. As our customer service department answers all your calls, bar code scanning gives them information about the status of tests. This enables our customer service personnel to answer all of the customers’ questions quickly and efficiently without having to call individual departments.
